Although thought is a personal point of reference for human beings in relation to their consciousness, the conscious man, the evolving man, who has already taken Knowledge of the world of the laws of thought, may wonder about the origin of thought and developed, on the basis of this study, a very advanced awareness of nature of the mind.
Where does thought come from? As we have already said, thought comes from the superior mental plane of man. So it came out of the contact that exists between the double and the ego. But short of this definitive conclusion, it is good to make a particular study on the mental world, on the world of thought, in order to understand the subtleties of the mental world and benefit selfishly from the relationship that exists between thought and the ego.
Thought in itself has its origin, in humans, only as a function of need to create a dynamic and creative movement in one’s conscience. Of course Human thinking is not sufficiently developed on the universal plane to allow humans, universally, to benefit from it in their creative quality. On the other hand, in the evolving human being, in humans whose mental center has already been raised, that is, adjusted to an increasingly constant creatively, we discover that with time, with evolution, with Transmutation of being, thought and its origin are becoming more and more representative of the quality of human consciousness. In other words, more Man evolves, the more his consciousness changes in relation to thought, the more thought transforms one’s consciousness.
But the ego has difficulty letting itself be pierced by the creative energy of mental, so he has difficulty letting thoughts pass into the mind that can be of use to him, he tends to use thoughts. And the difference between these two modes of perception is fundamental. The ego must come to terms with letting thoughts pierce him in order to be able to get used to the creative rigor of the universal thinking. To do this, he must learn to live his thoughts without becoming attached to them emotionally. He must learn to experience them, to filter them so that they become one with him, not just in such a way that they become for him a way of studying the world.
If the ego uses its thoughts, in other words if he gradually learns to penetrate the mental world creatively, that is, without thinking, he will achieve that the world of thought is perfectly adjusted to the vibratory balance of its centers, so that it is perfectly adapted to the potential development of his creativity.
Letting himself be penetrated by thought, getting used to being able to experience it and express it creatively, over time, man can discover, in the creative mode of the mind, thoughts that are of themselves enough creative to free him completely in the long term from survival, that is to say from the difficult earthly activity to live in a civilization that is not suitable perfectly to his superior intelligence.
For Man to discover in the mental world the creative destiny of his thought, so that he can discover in thought the creative alignment of his Conscience, he must get used to penetrating the mental world without becoming attached to it. If he gets used to entering the mental world without becoming attached to it, he will discover that this world, this life plan that is part of his conscience, is ultimately in line with the Destiny or with the destiny of one’s own conscience and that this world constitutes for him, as an individual, the greatest good, the greatest well-being and inevitably the potential representative of great peace of mind.
But the ego is difficult to be penetrated by creative consciousness because he is accustomed, as a thinker, to develop thinking according to a dynamic that naturally and perfectly suits his involutionary consciousness, that is to say, who is suitable for a conscience that was insecure in the past, therefore insecure in the face of the future.
We can very well realize philosophically that thought comes from another plan, that it comes from the double, but it is difficult for us to understand that her origin is both the product of its nature and also the product of its purpose. In other words, thought in itself is total if it is creative. It is total in its point of origin and it is total also in its manifestation, in its movement, so that it naturally creates the link, the unity between the ego and the cosmic origin of human consciousness. For the man to appreciate the origin of his thought, so that he can come to terms with it, that is to say in order for him to live with the unity of his conscience, he must learn to recognize in the mental world that any form of thinking is a test of the natural emotionality of his planetary consciousness.
From the moment when man realizes that any thought-form is this test from the planetary consciousness, he passes from the lower mental plane of thought to the superior and mental plane of thought. So he finally comes to benefit from the creative energy of thought and no longer cares about the forms it uses to adjust the ego emotionally and mentally. It is from this moment that Man can begin to put his finger on an infinite and creative capacity to the thought that gives him access to a state of mind where serenity, calm and total security coexists.
But so that he can become aware of this, so that he can achieve these three states of being which, basically, form a total unit of mental experience, Man must become aware that thought in itself only serves to excite the lower mental part of his ego, that is, his emotion and his intellect. Once he has realized this and really understood this, he can layout the mental form of thinking and live only on creative energy. What is the difference between the two? Well, the mental form of thinking is its psychological aspect while its creative, vibratory aspect represents the direct movement of energy between the double and the ego without the necessary support of the form.
When man needs to be creative, he become instantly creative to the extent that he no longer has to rely on the form of thought to be emotionally secure in his ego. This is a feat of strenght for man because it is a total disruption of his psychological consciousness, that is to say a way of being to stop being existential to become creative, so it’s a way to be able to become totally transparent, that is to say capable of supporting the subtle movement of energy without being attached to form.
Whether the form serves the ego for the psychological orientation of its self is a thing. But that the form become for the ego a directional aspect of its consciousness, this can be dangerous because creative energy is always working on human centers and it is constantly seeking to perfect emotion in the mind in order to create the channel that will eventually serve as a means, a medium of transport between the higher plane of the mind and the ego.
Therefore, in the genesis of thought, there are two paths: there is the universal way run by the double according to what it knows about human life, and also exists the receptive, planetary voice, particular to egoic consciousness, which allows the ego to align itself a bit with the natural evolution of its planetary consciousness. In both cases, there must be a merger, a unit over time, that is to say an alliance that characterizes the universal movement of energy without the need of the correspondence of the ego.
So that the creative energy of the mind becomes really fluid and crystal clear at Man, the ego must learn to withdraw from the need for form, from the need for the fitness support with regard to the creative movement of one’s consciousness. It is here that the feat of strenght becomes an irrevocably transformational aspect and that the ego, over time, comes to realise that thought itself is indeed both a support and a force, and that it does not need to be egotistically manipulated, meaning seated on the egocentric plane of the lower mental consciousness, to have any value.
Involution has given Man’s thinking a planetary involutive characteristic, in other words it has given this energy a personal quality, a reflective quality, and therefore a subjective quality. Evolution will give Man a new quality of thought, meaning it will become more and more a simpler creative aspect and no longer a creative reflection. The difference between a creative aspect and creative reflection is very important because the creative aspect of thought is ultimately linked to the dynamic or to the creative and cosmic dynamic of the energy that underlies the link between Man and the double. While the creative quality of thought is a mental way for Man to perceive this aspect through form.
And as soon as Man creates any interest in the form of thought, he ultimately loses contact with the creative, universal movement of energy, so he loses contact with the creative intelligence of the higher self, so he loses contact with the double, meaning he divides himself, he fragments himself as ego and pursues his mental life on a plane which is inferior to what he could know.
It is obvious to Man or to the new Man that the integration of the mind, meaning the cosmic development of creative energy in relation to egoic consciousness, must be part of a gradual evolution, meaning an evolution to which the ego will belong, insofar as it is capable of disappearing on the psychological plane of form in order to reappear on the creative plane of energy.
Form is still very powerful in human consciousness. It is still a reference point for the ego. It is still a way for the ego to measure, it is still a way for the ego to become occultly aware of the nature of its mind. But the time will come in the course of evolution when this form, meaning this egoic need to measure the reflective value of its thought, will be transformed into another creative perception of energy, freeing the ego from the burden of thinking and finally allowing him to benefit from a creative alliance between the double and himself, meaning a creative way of instantly interpreting in action or speech what the energy in itself, beyond the form, constitutes for him as creative.
Where does thought come from? Thought comes from several planes. It comes from several planes because Man is a measure of several planes, meaning thought in itself constitutes for Man the different levels of his consciousness.
But ultimately, it comes from a universal plane, meaning it comes from a world where mentality, meaning the mind, colludes with the ego without the ego realising it. But the ego must become aware of the collusion between himself and the spirit, meaning the ego must come to be able to easily interpret the movement of the spirit through the thought-form in order to free itself from the reflection of the form and leave only the vibration within himself.
From the moment when Man lives solely by the vibration of form, he will benefit from energy, and the totality of his centres will be maintained in equilibrium because of the creative universality of this same energy. But for Man to understand precisely the role of thought in his mind, he must learn to correct the natural tendency to intervene in the psychological process of his mentation, meaning he must learn to observe thought without being involved. He must learn to see thought passing through the mind of his consciousness without being involved. To do this, he must do it creatively, meaning in a way that does not require him to stop, meaning in any form of meditation, but simply to become aware.
If Man begins to meditate on the mental world, he will never stop, because the mental world itself is infinite and the psychological quality of the ego naturally invokes astral aspects of the mind, meaning the natural quality of the ego makes Man participate in reflections of astral consciousness from which he must be free if he wants to participate creatively in a thought that does not die out, meaning a thought that does not need to stop in order to be at rest, meaning to have no impact on the ego.
The ego should be able to live a thought in such a liberated way that it would not need to force upon itself a meditative method to stop the phenomenon of thought. And as long as Man has not come to this realisation, as long as he is obliged to use methods to live his thought in a more liberated way, he will be obliged to maintain some kind of contact on the astral plane with planes which ultimately constitute a diminution of his creative authority.
Man needs the total creative authority of his mind, meaning he needs to be able to go beyond form in order to enter into vibratory harmony with the energy in its origin. If he develops or establishes within himself a tendency to want to put the ego to sleep in order to awaken consciousness, meaning if he tends to live in some form of meditation in order to stop the current of thought, he will build a subtle bridge between himself and the astral plane which will tend to spiritualise his being and take away from his being the necessary will that is part of the creative movement of energy.
One of the problems with meditation is that, although it has the capacity to create a kind of calm in the ego, it cannot bring about an instantaneous conversion of energy into a creative form in the world, because it tends to withdraw Man from the world. And Man must not be withdrawn from the world, Man must be in the world, Man is part of the world and his creative consciousness must be used, channelled through the ego for the transformation of the world and its forms.
If we look at the evolution of creative thought, we see that, in its ultimately cosmic origin, it contains all the aspects and all the probabilities commensurate with what Man himself can bear of such creativity. So man, insofar as he is in creative contact with the energy of his mind, has no need in the long term to question the quality, the movement, the mode of expression of his creative thought, since in itself it is perfect. It is from the moment that it is received by Man and reflected on one level or another, or that it is stopped for the creation of a certain calm, that Man loses the capacity to absorb its energy, that is to say that he loses the capacity to vibrate in the mind at a frequency which constitutes for the new conscious being a very large scale of consciousness in comparison with the spiritual Man of involution.
Since thought itself is a vibratory frequency of energy, tomorrow Man no longer needs to experience it on a pulsating level. All he has to do is live it on a vibratory level. In other words, he no longer needs thought as a system of reflection for his consciousness. They only need energy to create, through action and speech, the images or forces necessary to convert the world to the creative measure of their consciousness. This is a radical change in the way Man uses his thought and also in the way Man must use his mind.
During involution, Man used his mind in relation to a system of reflection that measured the egoic capacity of his intellect to realise the different levels of depth of reality. This was a failure because Man is not psychologically capable of evaluating reality. But he is creatively capable of establishing the different parameters of reality, from the most particular to the most absolute, insofar as he is capable of living thought without it being conditioned by reflection, in other words without it needing the psychological support of the ego to enter the consciousness of being.
If Man is capable of supporting the creative movement of thought, meaning it’s verbalised or actualised dynamic, he no longer needs to reflect on the consequences of his mind. All he has to do is actualise his mind and see that this creative mind ultimately united with the source represents, ultimately, some degree of fusion with its origin. And it is to the extent that Man knows or achieves this fusion, that he will be able to install on the planetary level a vibration powerful to continue to vibrate, a universal vibration enough to enable Men, tomorrow, to continue to complete their evolution and to eliminate from their consciousness the various forces which, during involution, formed the egoic picture of a consciousness where thought served the ego.
Thought does not need to serve the ego, once it is fused in its essence, because in itself it is the creative product of egoic consciousness. What we mean is that the further Man advances in evolution, the less thought will serve Man egoistically and the more it will serve Humanity universally. The more it serves Humanity, the less the ego is involved, the more transparency there is, so the less thought is used by the ego as a form and the more it is used as energy through speech and action. This will eventually lead the ego to think less and less, meaning to live instead by a form of mental communication that will enable him to recognise the creative intentions of the double towards him, meaning to be able in time to benefit from an ultimately cosmic contact between the planetary plane and the etheric plane where the ego is located, through the mind of Man who has finally gained access to a unified consciousness through fusion.
It is not yet obvious to Man that thought is in itself a scrambling of his mental waves. Man should be able, and with evolution will be able, to live in a totally serene mind where thought no longer exists, meaning where thought is no longer reflective. From the moment when human thought is no longer reflective, the human being will live an extremely creative mental life, in other words, a mental life that is extremely serene, extremely free of any form of reflection.
It is from that moment on that we can say that Man is perfectly well in his skin or that Man is perfectly happy on the material plane, because no clouds will ever come to shade his sky. But for the clouds to disappear from Man’s mental sky, he must be able to realise in concrete terms that behind the clouds there is always the sun. In other words, behind any form of reflection, there is always intelligence. So there is always a form of illusion in a cloud or in a thought. And this form of illusion is certainly a characteristic of involutive Man’s psychological suffering.
A thought which in itself is totally non-reflective instantly becomes a form of communication with the double. So it instantly becomes a form of information from the universal planes, extending or descending to the lowest plane, that of Man. But as long as Man experiences a cloud or clouds in the sky of his mind, he is not capable of perfectly realising communication because he is not perfectly capable of absorbing pure energy. He must or can only absorb it through a form because he still has too many emotions to be able to surrender himself totally naked to his own sun.
But Man will learn to surrender himself to his own sun with time, because he will have more and more science concerning the subtle trickery of clouds, meaning of his reflected thoughts, and he will also understand more and more the function of the sun, meaning the creative function of his higher self, the double, which in itself does not necessarily constitute the totality of Man’s consciousness, but the cosmic aspect of his consciousness which, linked to the planetary aspect, constitutes the Superman, meaning the new Man of tomorrow.
Thought must always and constantly be monitored in its subjective movements, because for the creative evolution of the mind, it must be used to reflect in Man’s consciousness the slightest, the least of subjective reflections. It is used by the double to create the ultimate illusion in Man, the one that leads him to believe or think that it is he who thinks the slightest of thoughts. And if thought were not used in this way, it would be impossible for Man to become aware of the double because the latter would be veiled behind a whole astral world of thought, that is, behind a whole subjective coloration of Man’s mental world.
So the double makes use of the slightest possibility of penetrating the human mind through reflection, and Man must be aware of this. He must see through thought, the play of this thought, if he is to be able to make his alliance with the double, that is, to benefit from the creative movement of his mind without having to suffer the slightest interference from the form on his ego, in other words, without having to suffer the slightest emotion in his mind.
If Man were really conscious and experienced an emotion in the mind because of the reflection of a thought, he would instantly become aware of the game being played by the double through the ego and he could easily become aware that he had finally reached a certain degree of lucidity. But Man is not sufficiently conscious to realise this because he is still at the stage of discernment where he has to become aware more of his actions in the world than of the way in which the thought is manipulated by the double; which constitutes the origin of his creative self. It is for this reason, in a sense, that Man must put much order into his material world if he is to begin to taste the subtle manifestations of the double, through the mental world of his thought.
Man must really react and correct the abuses of his planetary consciousness. He really must make more and more use of his creative consciousness to finally be able, instantaneously and more and more rapidly, to benefit from the fusion of his mind. It is the fusion of Man’s mind that will enable him to emerge from the psychological survival of the ego and finally undertake a creative movement in the world that constitutes the creative potential of his mental energy.
But if he does not realise as an ego that the double is constantly at work and that he too, in the world of matter, must be constantly at work, he will not be able to benefit from this alliance, this creative link between the cosmic part of his being and the planetary part. So if man is to achieve a real and profound transformation of his mind, he must correct the abuses of his mind in matter, meaning he must correct the subtle movements of his emotions in his mind. In this way he will be able to benefit from the clairvoyance and clairaudience of the double, that is to say from the perfected mental link with the origin of his thought, and cease, in the world of matter, to be preoccupied every day, every week and every month, with the state of things, the state of life, which constitutes any form of existence.
Man must be free and he will be free. But to become free, he must begin to allow into life what he knows in the mind, meaning he must transpose into life what he knows in the mind. But to do this, he must learn to convert the mind into an instant creative force that does not shy away from anything, that is, that constantly tries to see through the subjective clouds of reflective consciousness. In other words, Man must not lie to himself. If he lies to himself, he automatically delays the evolution of his consciousness, the fusion of his mind, and he also delays the time in his life when he will be able to emerge from survival.
For some people, it’s very difficult to see where or when they’re lying to themselves. Why is this? Because lying is already part of some creative form of the lower mind. But as soon as there is suffering at the end of the lie, Man must become aware of the warning. He must realise that in life, basically, if thought is totally creative, if the movement of energy through the mind, therefore through speech and action, constitutes for him the perfect manifestation of his consciousness, there can be no suffering.
So it is really through the least of suffering that Man can measure the extent to which the double is obliged to work in order to perfect its link, its alliance with the ego. If Man does not realise this, he is not using his consciousness, so he is not using conscious suffering. And a man who does not make use of conscious suffering naturally remains at the same stage of evolution and can no longer progress, because there is no longer sufficient intelligence in him to benefit from the lack of intelligence that exists on Earth in order to convert the inferior state into a superior state.
It is thus that any psychic form, any psychic tension rather in the human being must be used for the conversion of his energy, for the elimination of the inertia of his will and for the propulsion of his mind in a direction perfectly suited to his well-being. So if man experiences or observes in his life any form of psychic tension, he must realise that this psychic tension is the product of the actualisation in his life of any form of intelligence which is not perfectly balanced, that is to say which is not perfectly in fusion of energy with the double. So the ego is not perfectly free, and so over time it is obliged to work at becoming so.
The psychic tension that exists in everyday life, towards or in relation to anything, must be eliminated in Man. It must first be studied, seen, perceived and, in time, perfectly neutralised. This form of psychic tension simply represents a vibratory warning from the double through the consciousness of the ego telling him that it must adjust this or adjust that in order to be free, that is to say to be able to bear the presence of the double in a perfectly mentalized state of mind.
If Man does not do this, he is subject to the subjective consciousness of the ego, so he is subject to emotion in the mind, he is subject to the conditioning of events, he is subject to the loss of his creative freedom on Earth, so he is obliged to go through a certain amount of learning. Thus, the psychic tension of which conscious Man becomes aware from the moment the mental centre is opened – which is already for him a very great gift of life, that is to say a very great new capacity to perfect his life – this psychic tension must be used by Man in a creative way. It must be used in the sense that he must not allow himself to be intimidated in any way by the fact that it exists. He must use it creatively, he must be able to ensure that in time it will disappear from his life, and in that process he will have reached a new level of maturity, he will have reached a new level of lucidity, he will have moved from discernment to lucidity, so he will have become more and more intelligent.
For conscious Man, becoming more and more intelligent means gradually arriving, in the course of evolution, at the elimination of more and more psychic tensions which constitute some form of measure or parametric form which informs him of a certain failure in the creative totality of his being. Psychic tension always represents a psychological investment by the ego in life that it does not fully understand. When the psychic tension disappears from Man’s consciousness, he becomes free, so his way of living changes, his consciousness alters, his will has become greater and he has finally managed to enjoy more sunshine and less shade, fewer clouds.
It is not natural for Man on Earth, conscious Man, new Man, to live between the sun and the clouds, in other words to live on a little sun and a lot of clouds. He must come to eliminate all the clouds so that he is finally bathed only in the sun, that is, his own light, his own intelligence. But to do this, he has to use the psychic tension that exists and use it as a yardstick to measure what is not yet running perfectly smoothly. And he will see that over the months, over the years, his life improves, that his life becomes more and more under his control, that his life becomes more and more pleasant, that it is less survival, that it is more life and that, in the end, it ultimately represents what he has always wanted: constant peace, permanent peace, growing peace and also creative peace, meaning a peace that enables him to use mobility in the world in order to further shape, for the well-being of his astral body, impressions that constitute, as long as he is on the material plane, a source of nourishment, a source of pleasure and a source of vitality.
Naturally linked to psychic tension is the lower mental world. Man will recognise that his thoughts are directly linked to psychic tension. It is his lower thoughts that create this psychic tension. So it’s up to him to pursue and correct, to eliminate psychic tensions in order to neutralise and put a stop to the thoughts that create reflection in him because they raise a certain current of emotionality in the mind.
The link between psychic tensions and the lower mental world is a source of suffering for Man. So it’s up to him to eliminate this source of suffering, and today he has the ability, the science, to do so. He has the capacity today to perfectly and totally reverse the polarity of his mind, meaning to give his mind creative power and to eliminate from his mind any intrusion of the emotionality created by the subjective thought used by the double to force the ego to perfect its being, meaning its consciousness, by using psychic tension as a lever for transformation.
If the ego does not realise this, it will be constantly bathed in psychic tension. It will constantly experience thoughts that are not commensurate with its consciousness, and it will find life more and more burdensome. And naturally, as he becomes more and more aware of the laws of energy, he will become more and more electrified, more and more tense, more and more unable to bear life, instead of the opposite movement.
While human beings are finding it more and more difficult to cope with life, conscious man, the new man, should find life more and more pleasant. But for this to happen, Man must learn the laws of mental consciousness. He must learn the reality that lies behind the subjective and coloured movement of his thoughts, which generate psychic tension that he must use to transmute his mind and finally eliminate the clouds in his life.
It is not natural for conscious Man, whatever the world condition, whatever the planetary condition, not to be able to find a hole in the world and perfectly actualise his creative consciousness. When man is conscious, he doesn’t need a lot of things, but he does need everything that is available to him to the extent of his consciousness. And what is available to him within the limits of his consciousness is part of the secret of his creativity. Within this secret, he must discover what he has that is the measure of his consciousness. Eventually, therefore, the ego will benefit from what Man’s consciousness has at its disposal, in other words, from what Man’s creative consciousness knows about what the ego needs.
And this is how Man will create for himself a formidable life, a natural life, a full life, a life that will no longer be survival, but simply a creative movement of his ego fixed in the light and universalised in a totally renewed consciousness.
